Saint John's Eve celebration with inauguration of the fountain

Due to the coronavirus, participation in the dedication of the cathedral fountain can only take place by invitation.

The fountain on Merseburg Cathedral Square has been without water for over 100 years. To mark the 1000th anniversary of the consecration of Merseburg Cathedral, the water is to return to the cathedral square. The cathedral fountain will bubble again for the first time on St John's Day.
