The city of Merseburg is dedicating the year 2022 to the physician Carl von Basedow, who settled here in Merseburg 200 years ago and first described Basedow's disease, which was later named after him.
On the occasion of the Basedow Year, small scented sachets and magic bags can be made on this day in the cloister of Merseburg Cathedral. (Material costs: 2 €)
