Merseburg Cathedral Music III: „Masterpieces of Chamber Music“

Merseburg Cathedral Music regularly organises concerts in Merseburg Cathedral. The varied programme ranges from organ concerts on the Ladegast organs to symphonies and chamber concerts in the cloister.

On 11 July, the summer cloister invites you to a multifaceted concert. A top-class ensemble led by Michael Schönheit will span a spectrum from Spohr and Schubert to Clara Schumann and contemporary sounds by Michael Kaulkin. In the historical silence of the cloister, intimate soundscapes will emerge between word and music. An evening full of poetic moments, lyrical depth and fine colours in a unique atmosphere.
