Award of the Romanesque Research Prize 2023

The European Romanesque Centre cordially invites you to the award ceremony of the 11th Romanesque Research Prize to Anne Greule (Jena) on 09 June 2023 to the European Romanesque Centre. Mrs Greule is being honoured for her outstanding dissertation: "Preachers of transformation. Alain of Lille and the Parisian schools in the second half of the 12th century" was honoured with our award.

The celebrations will take place at 6:00 pm on the premises of the European Romanesque Centre in Merseburgat Domplatz 7. The second Chairman of the Executive Board, Prof Dr Klaus Krüger, will give the laudatory speech. In a keynote speech, Prof Dr Dany Sandron (Paris) will speak on the subject of "Paris in the 12th century: The emergence of a capital city. Architectural aspects." speak.
