Merseburg Cathedral Music regularly organises concerts in Merseburg Cathedral. The varied programme ranges from organ concerts on the Ladegast organs to symphonies and chamber concerts in the cloister.
On 5th December, Cathedral Organist Michael Schönheit invites you to a Christmas organ concert. On the grand Ladegast organ, he will perform baroque masterpieces and traditional sounds that reflect the spiritual depth of the Advent season. In the festive atmosphere of the Imperial Cathedral, architecture and music merge into a contemplative experience. An evening that warms the heart and stylishly prepares you for the coming Christmas festivities.
