Afternoon concerts by Hungarian organists
The lunchtime concerts in Merseburg Cathedral invite you to a musical break for all generations in the middle of the day. The programme is aimed at upper secondary school students as well as anyone interested in organs.
Organists present works from the rich Hungarian musical tradition and let the cathedral organ shine in diverse timbres.
The programme will be hosted by Alex Huth, known from the children's channel and various presenting roles in the region. The concerts thus combine cultural education for pupils and all music lovers with a special auditory experience in the historic space of the cathedral.
