The Merseburg Organ Festival is taking place for the 54th time, with the magnificent Ladegast organ in Merseburg Cathedral taking centre stage. Under the motto "Musikland Österreich", the organ festival from 7 to 15 September 2024 is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Anton Bruckner's birth, the 150th anniversary of Franz Schmidt's birth and the 150th anniversary of Arnold Schönberg's birth the composers and works of the Danube Monarchy.
