Chamber concert
Brass quintet with tuba ensemble and percussion ensemble
The Erfurt Air Force Music Corps is the Bundeswehr's musical ambassador for Central Germany. With its large symphonic wind orchestra and several chamber music ensembles, the orchestra delights audiences in Thuringia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and abroad. Whether original compositions for large symphonic wind orchestra, arrangements of classical works, swing, rock & pop, film music or traditional marches - you will find it all in a concert programme of the music corps.
The approximately 50 musicians are at home in the Thuringian state capital and perform more than 200 times a year. The orchestra has already made guest appearances at international music festivals and played on concert tours in Belgium, France, Great Britain, Canada, Poland, Sweden, Kazakhstan and the USA, among others. Lieutenant Colonel Dr Tobias Wunderle has been the director of the Erfurt Air Force Music Corps since 2018.
