„An old saying, a magic spell, named after my small hometown“
Walter Bauer and the Merseburg Magic Spells - an evening full of enjoyment for all the senses

Walter Bauer, who was born in Merseburg, left behind an impressive body of work that is currently being catalogued by his executor Jürgen Jankofsky. Time and time again, Bauer's texts take a closer look at his homeland and the magic spells of Merseburg. These texts by Walter Bauer will be performed on a cosy summer evening.

The event, which is part of the Walter Bauer Year, is being organised jointly with the Vereinigte Domstifter zu Merseburg und Naumburg and the Kollegiatstift Zeitz.

The reading is free of charge. The cloister welcomes you with its fantastic atmosphere to round off the day.

Your physical well-being will be catered for: small treats and refreshing drinks will be available on site. Come along, enjoy an inspiring evening and let yourself be spoilt with culinary delights!
