In the festive service for the 13th Sunday after Trinity, the Cathedral Chapter will present a particularly festive musical service with the Mass „Sunt bona mixta malis“ by Gregor Joseph Werner. Under the leadership of Michael Beauty The Baroque setting of the Mass unfolds in an impressive combination of liturgical celebration and concertante design.

The soloists Elisabeth Mücksch (soprano), David Erler (altus), Tobias Hunger (tenor) and Emanuel Jessel (bass) perform together with the Naturally Only. Denny Wilke accompanies on the continuo organ, lending sonic depth and historical authenticity to the festive service.

Naturally Only From Bratislava, it is one of the profiled ensembles for early music in Slovakia. It was founded in 1995 by its artistic director, violinist Miloš Valent; the focus is on historically informed performance practice of the 17th and 18th centuries on historical instruments. Depending on the work, the ensemble performs with flexible instrumentation – from a chamber music trio to a large baroque orchestra for cantatas and oratorios. Solamente Naturali places a particular emphasis on rediscovering Central European and Slovak music sources, which it brings to life in concerts and numerous recordings. In Merseburg Cathedral, the ensemble lends Gregor Joseph Werner's Mass the sonic colour and stylistic precision that makes this baroque festive music tangible in its liturgical power.
